Apple Nachos
If your kids are like mine, they probably devoured a ton of candy during Halloween last week. And now it is November, so the holiday season has officially begun which means even more eating. In case you are trying to fit in a few fruits and veggies into your kids between all the seasonal goodies, you have to make these Apple Nachos.
The beauty of these nachos is that they can be customized with the toppings of your choice to make it as healthy or not-so-healthy as you like and they are super simple to make. I can whip these babies up 5 minutes before the kids get home from school for a quick snack.
Ingredients
2-3 Granny Smith Apples (thinly sliced)
Garnish Ideas
Chocolate Syrup
Caramel Sauce
Mini red and green M&Ms
Mini Chocolate Chips

Preparation:
1. Thinly slice 2-3 Granny Smith Apples (or the apples of your choice!) depending on how many you are serving.
2. Spread out the apple slices on a large plate just like you would regular nachos.
3. Start with the sauce of your choosing (caramel, chocolate, melted peanut butter…etc) and drizzle all over the apples.
4. Sprinkle any and all toppings that you like on top of the apples to garnish and complete the snack.
5. Yep, it’s that easy. Just cut, drizzle, sprinkle and eat.
