Recipe: Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies
Everyone talks about pumpkin chocolate chip cookies but I’ve never tried them before. To be honest, they never sounded that appealing to me. Since I was getting pretty curious about this recipe and because no one else in my family had ever tried them before, I decided to do a test run before Thanksgiving to see what all the fuss was about.
Now I know. These things are good! The pumpkin chocolate combo was incredibly tasty. Creamy, chunky, delightful. Thanksgiving and Fall are the perfect times to try this recipe that both kids and adults will love!
Ingredients-
1 cup (2 sticks) of butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
3 cups of flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups of MILK chocolate chips
Directions-
Mix the butter and sugars in a mixer.
Beat in the eggs, vanilla, and pumpkin.
Slowly beat in everything else and hand mix the chocolate chips in last.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Make sure to watch your cookies before the 15 minutes are up because different ovens bake differently and you don’t want them to burn.
Let your delicious cookies cool on a baking tray and enjoy!
Wishing everyone a happy and delicious Thanksgiving!
