  2. My favorite holiday treat is a yummy fruit salad recipe from my grandmother, that has been a tradition on Christmas that we have continued since her passing.

  8. I have to have it every year. Raspberry Surprise Salad. I have not idea why it is called that. Really not much of a surprise but it is tasty.

  9. I mix melted milk chocolate and shredded wheat (I buy the big ones and break them into tiny pieces) and put them by the spoonful onto wax paper to harden. They may not be that pretty, but they’re delicious!

  10. When I was growing up, I always looked forward to my grandmothers Dutch Apple Pie that she always made from scratch. She would give us a big slice and a big ol’ scoop of vanilla ice cream on top

  11. The must holiday treat is cheese caramel custard (Flan) I would go crazy in the kitchen with this one!!!!

  12. Favorite holiday treat? Hmmmmm … honestly, cookies – but the VARIETY of cookies. I love all of the different types that get made this time of year.

  27. Mmmmm I love baking chocolate chip cookies or any variety of sugar cookie! I also make so much bread and yeast doughs (like for fried donuts) that this would be so helpful!

  30. Mincemeat pie is my favorite holiday treat… not as popular in the US, but something I grew up with (think raisins, apples, spices… no meat 😉 )

  31. I would LOVE a Kitchenaid Mixer, in any color, for my baking. I love to bake!!!!……and would really love to make some of my Grandma’s Molasses cookies for the holidays, but I hate mixing that thick batter by hand.
